Lucia Comnes leads a five-piece folk powerhouse that combines traditional Irish music with influences from Rock, Americana and Bluegrass to produce “a fresh and invigorating take on the Irish sound (SF Irish Herald)”. An American fiddler-singer-songwriter born in San Francisco and now based in Milan, Italy, her new album ‘Held in the Arms’, was greatly praised in the US: “There is not an inferior tune on this entire 43-minute album (No Depression)” and on national TV in Italy, was described by Folk Radio UK as “A journey into the light… Assured beautifully crafted American Folk.” Her impressive musical background includes playing/touring with Joan Baez, and Tim Grimm, opening for Paul Brady and collaborating with Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers). Her song, ‘No Hiding Place’, a swampy blues number that marries lines from Appalachian ballads to a Bo Diddley beat, was recognised by the Dallas Texas Songwriters Association as Best Song of the Year in 2014.
“A singular voice… embedded with soul and spirit.” – San Francisco Chronicle

Colm Ó Riain is an Irish-born violinist, an accomplished and fiery improviser in multiple genres and has performed at festivals and venues throughout the world from Argentina and Brazil to Sweden and Vietnam. Hailed as a “genius fiddler” by Mike Scott of The Waterboys, Colm and his band weave their unique brand of modern Irish music with rhythms and melodies from Jazz, Blues, Brazil, Cuba, India, the Roma diaspora and Africa. He recently returned from touring in France with Breizh Amerika Collective, fellow Celtic fusion maestros. “O’Riain’s fireworks display of virtuosity easily spans the diverse genres of gypsy, tango, jazz, blues and Irish music all with his characteristic intelligence and pizzazz.” – the Irish Herald.

Canyon Jumpers feat. Alex Jordan, Graham Norwood, Evan Lanam, and Owen McInnis is a brand new group hailing from San Mateo, Alex Jordan (Midnight North), Graham Norwood (https://www.billboard.com/amp/articles/columns/country/8547554/graham-norwood-itll-never-happen-again-cover), Evan Lanam (The Live Oaks), and Owen McInnis capture the sounds of early folk-rock Americana with their thick harmony singing, intriguing original songs, and skillful musicianship. Born and raised in San Mateo County, Alex comes from a musical family and went to study Music Education in Long Beach, CA. After working as a guitar tech for the Grateful Dead tribute band “Cubensis,” Alex began performing with the band as a long term substitute. He returned to the Bay Area to join Midnight North, a rock-and-roll/Americana band which performs at Phil Lesh’s Grateful Dead themed Terrapin Crossroads restaurant every Sunday night. In 2020, he will be releasing his debut solo album, touring with the Alex Jordan Band as well as making new music across the country.
