Lucia Comnes Bay Area based songwriter, singer, fiddler and guitarist of American folk and contemporary Irish music has been selected to perform America the Beautiful on electric violin as part of the Game Day festivities for the Oakland Raiders vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00 p.m. on October 27, 2013.
This is Lucia’s first performance in front of her largest audience of approximately 65,000 sports fans at the historic Oakland Coliseum. Lucia will be performing just before the Oakland Raider’s entrance on the field to battle the Pittsburgh Steelers who the Raiders have a held an 6-3 record at home in Oakland vs. the Steelers. Tickets for the game are sold out, but can be found on the secondary market.
